Our joint Lodges of month in September reside in Chester – a city with so much to see and do that you’ll be delighted to put your feet up at one of our excellent two lodges, after a busy day seeing the sights.
The Chester Northeast hotel sits bedside the Hoole Village Toby Carvery. It’s the perfect base from which hang out with the cheeky chimps at the famous Chester Zoo. It has an international reputation, with over half the species classed as endangered, and a fabulous collection of exotic animals from all over the globe.
Our Chester Southeast Lodge is set in the picturesque grounds of the Cheshire Cat Vintage Inn, overlooking the Shropshire Union Canal. From here, you are well placed to make a splash at The Blue Planet Aquarium which has one of the longest underwater walkways in the world and a huge collection of marine life from diverse tropics like the Amazon and the Caribbean.
Or why not take a more leisurely view of wildlife by exploring the historical Tatton Park Estate just outside of Knutsford. Set in 1,000 acres of beautiful parkland, highlights include a working farm, play area, shops, as well the stunning mansion itself.
Chester city centre has a wealth of action-packed history from its illustrious past, including historical buildings and the beautiful cathedral. There’s also plenty of retail therapy available at the famous Browns of Chester department store.
So if you fancy a fantastic break in vibrant city and need somewhere great to stay that offers value for money and a complimentary all-you-can eat continental breakfast, our two Chester Lodges could be right up your street.
