
This online service is available to all guests that make a one room reservation, which is to be taken and paid for by themselves. It is available for stays of up to 10 nights and offers an enhanced check-inn experience.
Express check-inn is not available on Advance Saver Rate booking.
It is simple to use and will dramatically reduce the time you spend during your arrival at the lodge, allowing you to get to your room as quickly as possible and relax after a busy day’s work or travel.
To take advantage of this new service, all you have to do is check the ‘Express Check-inn’ box when you make your online reservation. Terms and Conditions apply.
That’s it! You sign, collect your key and paperwork and go straight to your room.
Express Check-inn Terms and Conditions
1. After 1pm on the day of your arrival, the lodge will automatically charge your credit card, (used to guarantee your online booking) with the total cost of your stay. You are agreeing to this charge being made without you being present at the time of the transaction. The guest staying must be the guest that made the reservation. See below for Innkeeper’s Lodge Cancellation Policy.
2. The lodge will then ensure that your room, check-inn paperwork, credit card slip, v.a.t. receipt and key are ready for your arrival. Should the lodge be unable to process the credit card transaction for any reason, they will try to contact you prior to your arrival (this may be to arrange an alternative credit card or method of payment). This could result in the Express Check-inn Service not be being available when you arrive. If this is the case, the Team will endeavour to make your check-inn as quick and easy as possible.
3. On your arrival to the lodge, go to the Check-inn area and give your name to a member of the Team. All you have to do is show the credit card that you booked with and sign your registration card - agreeing to the final amount that has been charged to your credit card prior to your arrival.
4. If you amend your reservation to more than one room, or increase the duration of your stay to more than 10 nights, the Express Check-inn Service will no longer be available.
5. Should you arrive prior to 5pm, the Express Check-inn Service may not be fully complete. If this is the case, the lodge Team will endeavour to make your check-inn as quick and as easy as possible.
Cancellation Policy
As per the standard Innkeeper’s Lodge Cancellation Policy - Should you cancel after 1pm on the day of arrival or fail to arrive, the lodge will then charge you for the first night’s accommodation. Guests that have selected the Express Check-inn service, will have already been charged for the full stay at 1pm on the day of arrival. They will still be charged for the first night’s accommodation, but refunded for any additional night’s charged. Receipts will then be forwarded to the address that was given, when the online reservation was made.
